Four years after an employee was fatally crushed by the street sweeper he was driving in a work accident in Gwinnett County, Georgia, a state jury has awarded his daughter $4.25 million in her lawsuit against the manufacturer that designed the street sweeper. Mother of store clerk killed in robbery files wrongful death lawsuit against convenience store
Nearly two years after a 40-year-old store clerk was fatally shot during a convenience store robbery in Garden Ridge, Texas, the employee’s mother has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against her daughter’s employer for having “security deficiencies,” including failure to have proper policy and training. The civil lawsuit also alleges the convenience store didn’t provide workers’ compensation benefits to the employee, which led to her mother filing the lawsuit. KSAT
