Report: Amazon’s injury rate jumped 20% last year

A coalition of four labor unions has released a report finding injury rates at Amazon warehouses increased about 20% over the last year, and that the company accounted for nearly half of all injuries in the warehouse industry last year. In 2020, it briefly slowed the expected pace of work at its facilities, allowing employees extra time to account for measures to protect against the spread of COVID-19.
