Granite State Lawmakers Draft Amendment to Controversial Bill
During their break, New Hampshire lawmakers draft an amendment to a workers’ compensation law that had angered small businesses owners by forcing them to have coverage for any employee who was “actively engaged in on-site work on any construction site.” The amendment reinstates a provision that exempted up to three officers or directors of a construction corporation from the rule.
