A 27-year-old Orlando, Florida man has been sentenced to three years in federal prison after he tried to evade payroll taxes and workers’ compensation. Trumbull County, Ohio commissioners this week approved a motion to hear from more companies that offer managed care services for county employee injury claims filed through the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, after a commissioner said she was concerned the human resources director selected a company one day after the open enrollment period began on May 3.
