Tennessee Official Announce Record Noncompliance Penalties
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development says it has collected a record $1.012 million in penalties from 292 Tennessee businesses for failure to comply with state workers’ comp laws. The state has more enforcement agents than it did two years ago as the result of a reform package.
