Ohio Supreme Court Upsets Law Limiting Workers Lawsuits

COLUMBUS -- The Ohio Supreme Court has ruled 4-3 in overturning a 4-year-old statute that limited the rights of injured workers to sue their employers.The majority on the court felt that the law, which prevents employees from filing a lawsuit while collecting workers' comp benefits unless there is "clear and convincing evidence" that injury or death was intentionally caused by the employer, set the burden of proof so high as to rule out suits altogether and was thus unconstitutional.A spokeswom
