An East San Diego residential and commercial framing contractor must repay State Compensation Insurance Fund more than $291,444 in connection with his guilty plea to one count of workers' compensation insurance premium fraud. San Diego County Superior Court Judge David Danielsen also sentenced Christopher Nicol, 38, up to one year in the custody of the sheriff pending successful completion of probation.
