The 43-year-old owner of a San Diego roofing business must pay $119,000 in restitution to the State Compensation Insurance Fund as part of his sentencing for workers' compensation insurance fraud. Arturo Cuevas, 43, owner of Cuevas Roofing & Painting, Inc./Western Pacific Design & Development, Inc., was also sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to insurance premium fraud. Cuevas had been insured with State Fund since October 1999.
