New York has to date received 5,800 workers compensation claims related to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers.So far about 2,200 death claims and 3,600 injury claims have been filed, according to the Workers Compensation Board, but more are expected. Injured workers or the families of those that perished in and around the buildings have two years to file workers comp claims.The claims relate to all workers, except for employees with the New York Police Departm
