The Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau's governing committee has voted to ask the Department of Insurance for a mid-year pure premium rate increase. After reviewing insurance industry data through the end of 2001, the Bureau decided to ask for a 10.1 percent increase in rates.The Bureau will file its recommendation with the Department of Insurance by the end of March.
