State Fund Loses MPN Challenge-Plans Appeal

State Compensation Insurance Fund is licking its wounds after losing its fight to keep Fresno-based Palm Medical out of its medical provider network. After a trial that lasted a little over four weeks, the jury reached a verdict saying that State Fund's reasons for excluding Palm Medical Group from its MPN were unreasonable. But State Fund says the actual evidence tells a different story.
