Silicon Valley entrepreneur Steve Poizner, the Republican candidate for Insurance Commissioner amused and enlightened the audience of employers at the California Coalition on Workers' Compensation with his promise to stay the course on the California workers' comp reforms. He said he would maintain the free market approach to all things insurance. Unlike his opponent, he says, he has purchased millions in workers' compensation insurance for hundreds of employees.
